Moorhead City Council member Mark Hintermeyer is the first candidate to announce a run for mayor. He's been?on the council for eight years, and says his experience makes him suited for the job.
Mayor Mark Voxland is not running for re-election.
The mayor's job and four council seats, including Hintermeyer's, are up for grabs in November.
