More to the point. WHO CARES? Who has time to post a criticism of someone commending someone on their good work? Waste. Of. Time. Posted on: Today 16:54

Joined: Group: | I do have to agree with Beachguy on this. The couple of posts he is referring to are OVER THE TOP. They sound like commercials not reviews or recommendations.....how many time can you list a phone number in a posting. Also, don't tell me to "call marge", just tell me about your dealings with her. I mean if you both aren't the realtor posing as a JClister, your "commercials" for them at best sound like you are going to get a cut of the deal if they go with your recommendation. Joined: Group: | No Beachguy it's not the same thing. I became Warren's friend as a result of doing business with him in several real estate transactions. Therefore I'm offering an objective opinion as a third party. Very much like if one enjoyed going to the same restaurant on a regular basis because they liked the food and service and provided rave reviews about the restaurant on Yelp etc. So it's not the same thing as someone promoting themselves. You're pretty pathetic because you're not adult enough to offer up an apology for your libelous accusation. You made a wild and incorrect assumption then assaulted Warren's character based upon your incorrect assumption. I could pretty much predict that you're going to respond by defending offensive posts in someway. Quote:

I recommend her to friends and strangers alike. I have been a member of this forum for a while... And don't really feel the need to explain myself... But... long story short... My old account was hacked. Not sure how your BS helps anyone to find, research, decide on a Realtor...but I think my experience with her might actually help someone. Silly me... Joined: From Downtown Jersey City Group: | I really wish that the moderator would stop these people from posting. First it's Sutherland, who is obviously Warren Curtin. He REALLY offends me because he thinks we're idiots. Sutherland....We KNOW you're Warren, so STOP!. Then all of a sudden a "new" user comes in with "If you are looking to do ANY real estate transaction in northern New Jersey, your first call should be to Marge Crimmins. She has helped me buy, sell, and rent properties in Jersey City. Marge knows the area VERY well. She has good insight as to what the future may bring, what the current market values should be, where this town was, and where it may be going. I think a real estate agent should have two things: the ability to listen and the gift of space. Let me explain. I think Marge listens to what you ask her for, but also to what you don't ask her for. She has a way of understanding her clients needs, even if they themselves have not expressed them. As for point number two, she is not pushy. She doesn't want to sell for the sake of selling, as most agents do. She wants you to be happy with your purchase and will go above and beyond so that it is so. This is why her clients, such as myself, will continue to use only her as a realtor. Marge Crimmins Seriously, does that sound like someone recommending a professional, or does it sound like someone trying to drum up business? Does she think we're stupid??? Then 2 other new users immediately follow with glowing recommendations. What??? This is a free-thinking, information-sharing board for the citizens of Jersey City. If professionals want to advertise, they should pay for it and not think that the rest of us are ignorant dolts. Wish that other posters would call out these fakes who are ruining this board to the moderator. If it's a new poster is commenting on a business - it's probably a lie. They're either drumming up business or trying to badmouth competition. I've called out other businesses for this kind of crap. I like it here - even when others think I'm a d##k. Joined: Group: | I also need to leave a glowing note for Marge Crimmins. She sold our home last year and I wouldn't hesitate to use her again or recommend her to any friend. She listened to our concerns carefully, was never pushy and, as was said below, she is extremely knowledgeable about the area and each property's individual potential. Marge "got it" right away when she saw our place and she marketed it's strengths well. We were able to list and sell our place for a very fair price. A+++ Posted on: 2/14 20:36

Joined: Group: | I am most definitely not Warren Curtin. Certainly, I'm taller and have a lot more hair on my head. LOL Though I have become a good friend of his as a result of our business dealings. So as loyal friend and client I do boast his capabilities. The Webmaster and a few other posters on here do know my actual identify and if they wanted to could verify that. Warren does not post on this board. However, he does have in excess of 20 years of experience selling real estate. Posted on: 2/14 7:58

Come on. Look at Sutherland's history of posts. Does anyone else think that Sutherland "may" be Curtin? Sutherland gives every bity of information about Curtin except his shoe size and makes Curtin seem like he may be the successor to Pope Benedict. I don't think I'd trust my real estate transaction to someone who has to resort to that kind of underhanded crap. Posted on: 2/13 18:11

Joined: Group: | I'll chime in with another recommendation for Phil Rivo. He was the dual buyer-seller broker when we bought our house, and helped the deal close despite problems with the appraisal, financing delays, etc. Then I used him to rent our ground floor apartment, and after making his suggested improvements, it rented for the ask, without a vacancy gap, to a tenant who's been ideal. Very frank to deal with, and doesn't sugar-coat to get clients. Posted on: 2/12 16:32

Joined: Group: | I used Vivian Drozd from Century 21 Plaza to sell two houses of mine up in the heights last summer and couldn't be happier with her. I thought about using a downtown or Hoboken agent but decided to use an office in the neighborhood (they are on Kennedy Blvd in the heights) Both houses were tricky deals and she was able to find buyers to actually hit our numbers and sold them both inside 30 days. The broker in that office, Laura Skolar, was excellent to deal with also. She is a fixture in the heights neighborhood and made us feel comfortable with our choice to use her office.
